First Presentation to the City Council
On Tuesday February 25th, 2013, several members of the Oakley Community Gardens and Farm Taskforce presented their plans for phase one of the community gardens project to the Oakley City Council. The council was overwhelmingly supportive, and surprised us with more questions about phase 2 or 3 projects than the current proposal.
We are guardedly optimistic after the favorable reception, and are now committed to finalizing our plans and operations so we can get growing!
